We provide a full suite of specialist assessments to support energy efficiency, compliance, and property management for social housing providers, landlords, local authorities, developers, and contractors.

Our services include:

  • Retrofit Assessments (RA) — PAS 2035-compliant evaluations to identify improvement opportunities, risks, and ventilation needs for domestic retrofit projects.

  • Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) — Domestic EPCs for rented and owned properties, accredited by ECMK and Elmhurst.

  • Technical Assessments — Detailed technical reports, including air tightness testing, moisture analysis, and building performance diagnostics.

  • Stock Condition Surveys — Comprehensive portfolio surveys to assess property condition, energy performance, and maintenance priorities

All assessments are delivered by our fully in-house, accredited team (DEA, RA, OTB qualifications via ABBE) — ensuring high accuracy, fast turnaround, and seamless integration with retrofit coordination, installations, or funding schemes (SHDF, ECO4, GBIS).

Whether for single properties or large-scale stock, we provide the data and insights you need to plan effectively, improve homes, and meet regulatory standards.

Our experienced Retrofit Coordinators manage projects from start to finish, ensuring full compliance with PAS 2035 and scheme-specific rules (SHDF, ECO4, GBIS). We handle:

  • Project planning and risk assessment

  • Liaison between clients, designers, installers and residents

  • Specification development and sign-off

  • Site monitoring, quality checks and verification

  • Lodgement of documentation and final reporting

This end-to-end oversight minimises disruption, protects funding compliance, and delivers measurable energy and carbon savings.

Damp & Mould Asessments

We provide specialist damp and mould assessments for social housing providers, housing associations, local authorities, and private landlords.

Our accredited team carries out thorough on-site investigations to identify the root causes whether condensation, inadequate ventilation, structural issues, rising/penetrating damp, or a combination of factors.

Following each assessment, we deliver:

  • Clear, evidence-based reports with moisture readings and photographic evidence

  • A prioritised resolution plan tailored to the property and resident needs

  • Recommendations and coordination to instruct the correct specialists for effective, lasting remediation

All assessments and plans align with PAS 2035, HHSRS principles, and the requirements of Awaab’s Law to help you respond promptly, protect resident health, and stay fully compliant.

Commercial EPC's

We provide Commercial Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for non-domestic buildings across the UK, helping property owners, landlords, agents, and businesses meet legal requirements.

Commercial EPCs are required when a building is constructed, sold, or let (with a minimum rating of E to comply with current regulations).

Our accredited assessors deliver:

  • Accurate Level 3 and Level 4 Commercial EPCs

  • Detailed recommendations for improving energy efficiency

  • Compliance advice for MEES regulations and upcoming changes

  • Support for portfolio owners with multiple properties

  • Fast turnaround and clear, actionable reports

Whether you’re preparing a property for sale/letting, managing a commercial portfolio, or planning energy upgrades, we provide reliable and compliant EPC services.

Landlord MEE's Assessments

We support private landlords and property owners in meeting Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) requirements for rented homes in England and Wales.

Current rules require a minimum EPC rating of E to let properties (unless exempt). Upcoming changes will raise this to C (phased from 2025–2030).

Our services include:

  • EPC assessments

  • Improvement advice and retrofit assessments

  • Air tightness testing

  • Tailored action plans for cost-effective upgrades (e.g., boilers, insulation)

  • Coordination of compliant works

We help you achieve compliance quickly, avoid fines, and future-proof your properties.

We specialise in air tightness testing and background ventilation assessments to help clients understand and improve building performance, comply with regulations, and support effective retrofit projects.

Our testing services include:

  • Blower Door Testing — Full pressurisation/depressurisation tests to measure air permeability (m³/h/m² @ 50Pa) for domestic and small non-domestic buildings.

  • Pulse Testing — Fast, non-invasive air tightness testing using the innovative Pulse technique (ideal for occupied homes, social housing stock, and high-volume programmes).

  • Background Ventilation Assessments — Evaluation of natural and mechanical ventilation rates to ensure adequate fresh air supply while maintaining energy efficiency.

  • Combined reporting — Clear results with recommendations for sealing improvements, ventilation upgrades, and integration with PAS 2035 retrofit plans

All tests are carried out by our in-house, qualified Air Tightness Engineers using calibrated equipment compliant with ATTMA standards and Building Regulations.

Whether for pre-retrofit baseline measurements, post-works verification, new-build compliance, or stock-wide surveys, our testing helps:

  • Identify unwanted air leakage

  • Reduce heat loss and energy bills

  • Prevent condensation and mould risks

  • Ensure balanced ventilation strategies

Sustainable Home Improvements
